Day 1

Route - AIRPORT to Colombo 
  • Arrive at the Katunayake Bandaranaike Airport where you’ll meet your assistant for the tour. 
  • Hit the road to travel to Colombo your first destination in Sri Lanka. 
  • Check in at the hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening recovering from your jetlag. 
  • Overnight stay at Movenpick Colombo. 

Travel time from airport to Negombo – about 30 minutes

Day 2 and 3

Route - Colombo , Pinnawala to Dambulla   

 

  • Wake up to a traditional breakfast and a warm cup of tea. 
  • Drive off to Pinnawala to witness the playful jumbos and majestic elephants at the Elephant Orphanage. 
  • Enjoy the historical and cultural spectacle at the Golden Temple in Dambulla. 
  • Add some thrill to your Sri Lanka holiday with an exciting safari ride to capture the sights of wildlife in Minneriya National park. 
  • Climb the 200 meters tall Sigiriya rock fortress and indulge yourself in the beauty of the summit’s scenery. 
  • Discover the beauty of the rural life with a trekking excursion to a local village. 
  • Get on an Elephant’s back to view the incredible Sri Lanka in the bird eye view. 
  • Overnight Stay at Amaara forest. 

Travel time from Colombo to Dambulla – about 4 hours

Day 4

Route - Dambulla to Kandy 
  • Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and travel to Kandy. 
  • Along the way visit the famous spice garden in Mathale and take a peek at the Bathik Factory. 
  • Next, pay a visit to the temple of the tooth where the unique sights and sounds will take you to another world. 
  • Wrap up your day with a colourful cultural dancing show full of dancers, drummers and fire-eaters.  
  • Overnight Stay at Royal Kandyan Hotel. 

Travel time from Dambulla to Kandy  – about 3 hrs

Day 5

Route - Kandy, Peradeniya, Ramboda to Nuwara Eliya 
  • Have your breakfast at the hotel and leave Kandy for Nuwara Eliya. 
  • Explore the exotic flowers with vibrant colours and stunning fragrances at the Royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya. 
  • Snap a photo with beautiful Ramboda falls in your background and enjoy a tour among the emerald green tea bushes. 
  • Then, watch the tea powder preparation process at a tea factory in scenic Nuwara Eliya. 
  • Enjoy your evening in Victoria park enjoying the chilling climate and the mist which will refresh your mind and body. 
  • Overnight Stay at Araliya Green Hotel. 

 

Day 6

Route - Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Udawalawa to Tangalle 
  • Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and proceed your tour to Tangalle where it’s all about sun, sea and sand. 
  • Along the way, witness the famous Lipton seat, cascading Ravana falls ell and blowhole. 
  • At Tangalle, unwind at a beachfront hotel enjoying the views of the Indian ocean sipping a cocktail. 
  • Overnight Stay at Lagoon Paradise. 

 

Day 7,8 & 9

Route - Tangalle, Mirissa, Galle, Hikkaduwa, Bentota to Waskaduwa 
  • Head to Waskaduwa where you can capture some more seaside moments for your travel diary. 
  • En route stop to witness the Stilt Fishermen fishing in the shallow waters sitting on a stick fixed to the seabed. 
  • Enjoy the crystal-clear waters in Mirissa beach. 
  • Discover the beauty of the ancient Galle fort and its amazing stories. 
  • Get on a speedboat to go on a mind-blowing river safari along the Madu river. 
  • Head to the Kosgoda turtle hatchery to watch giant turtles along with some cute little baby turtles.  
  • Overnight stay at Citrus Waskaduwa.

Day 10

Route - Waskaduwa, Colombo to Airport 
  • Once you finish your breakfast head to Colombo. 
  • Explore the city and its diversity of attractions in a city tour. 
  • Do some last-minute shopping for souvenirs. 
  • Say goodbye to Sri Lanka and head to BIA for your departure.
